The food was excellent and came in huge portions. The pickle bar was amazing. The dessert was very big, which seems to be the novelty, but tasted just okay.

Good old Harold's... what's not there to love about this spot! The pickle bar is fascinating! The portions are huge with amazing quality! I love the pastrami with Swiss, the potatoe skins and not going to lie the motza ball soup is great as well! The staff always has a smile on their face and is very helpful! This place clearly cares about our opinion because they give you a survey to take at the end! Clearly all highly effectives from my family and I. So many memories are shared at this establishment for my family and I!

I wanted a Rueben. I real NY Rueben, so we went to Harold's in Edison. It's located in an old Hotel. There was plenty of parking, and the place looked the way I had imagined. Pictures of famous patrons lined the walls along with the local (stinking) sports teams. We ordered a Rueben to share. Now this place is know for huge portions, and they encourage sharing for no additional cost, and it was big, but so was the price tag. It was $67 for the sandwich alone. It was more than most dinners I have gotten in the past few years. It came with the pickle bar, but there weren't any fries or potato salad. It also came with about 6 additional slices of Rye bread and some coleslaw. It was really good, and I enjoyed it very much, but after drinks and a tip, one sandwich and one fountain drink it was $95. I'm not sure it was worth that.... But price aside, it was a delicious sandwitch, and we had enough to take home for dinner also.

We have eaten here several times when we are in the area and have enjoyed our meals. Although my husband is sorry the gave up the pickle bar:0) In fact we will be eating there tonight. Looks like they have restarted the pickle bar.

The pickle bar is legendary and if you're from NJ you've been here. Best with a group this spot is awesome! Now my parents were the deli fans but it was delicious. Ordered Matziball soup Pastrami Brisket Roast beef Potato pancake Lox & eggs Fries Cole slaw Standouts; The matzo ball soup is the mother of all matzoh ball soups. Big full of veggies pure comfort. The health salad at the pickle bar, that's ehat my mom called it was outstanding and the pickle bar was sooo fun. Great deli fries and yummy coleslaw & pastrami was awesome!!! Fun!!!

Traveled one hour to experience the pastrami sandwich and wow was it worth it! Definitely some of the best pastrami I have had. The place was packed at 2pm on a Saturday. All the dishes are HUGE! My wife and I shared a Junior sized sandwich that was plenty for two. Ordered a side of fries that could have fed four. They don't mind sharing. Some ordered the larger sandwich to be able to take home. They serve it with the condiments on the side to allow for takeout. The complimentary pickle bar was fantastic. A must try for anyone who enjoys a good Jewish deli.

Harold's is famous for its New York style deli sandwiches which were huge and delicious. They expect you to have plenty of leftovers to take home. We had three cups of cold borscht soup, one junior brisket sandwich, a large two meat combination sandwich, and a side mashed potato, which I personally thought was totally unnecessary. We had so much leftovers; each of us got another one or two meals out of it. We also shared an order of cheesecake which was enough for four to share.

Had this food at a birthday party and it was delicious. I dont even eat lunch meat, but the turkey was soo good. I also dont eat pastrami or corned beef and the meats were tasty. Adding dressing and cole slaw to the sandwich was chefs kiss. Cant wait to visit the location on my own..

Went with 11 friends for our annual ugly sweater lunch. We all shared an order of potato pancake, knish, kreplach and went with the massive sandwich of pastrami, brisket and corned beef which is supposed to be enough for up to 12 but almost all of us wound up taking home. We also got great sides and condiments from the bar and all of this with tax and tip only came out to $33 per person! One of the best deals for a delicious lunch with leftovers. A true culinary staple.
